We started back on the 1934 Chevrolet Coupe on the 20th, and have been working hard to make up for lost time. Here is a quick summary of what we have accomplished: We cut out the front windshield of the car. We began fabricating a custom power distribution panel that will hold relays for the Auto-Loc switches and overhead console. We also started eliminating old analog circuits that were not necessary for the new digital system.
On Wednesday, we received all of our relays and began pre-wiring the power distribution board and fuse boxes. We also laid out the new advanced keyless entry system, that we will install after all the hard wiring is complete. Thursday, we completed the building and wiring of all the relay switches, triggers, and two accessory fuse boxes on our custom power distribution panel & continued removing unnecessary wiring from the old wiring harness.
Friday, we completed removing the old wiring that would not be used in our new digital system & installed our custom power distribution panel. We connected & ran leads to various new digital controls, completely wired in the large harness for our cruise control system, began running leads to our new digital gauge cluster, & ran a huge bundle of wiring leads through the passenger A pillar for the new Auto-Loc switches.
